Offerings of lights
Light offerings are made every day during the week of the Kagyu Monlam. Through these offerings we express the wish that the light of the teachings may endure in the world and bring clarity, joy and compassion to all beings.
You can take part to this valuable accumulation by buying candles online. They will be offered every day on the forecourt of the Main Temple, accompanied by the recitation of aspiration prayers.

Katas offerings
On Monday 21 December, the final day of the Kagyu Monlam, we will together offer katas to the Buddha and to each of the lineage masters: Karmapa, Shamarpa, Jamgon Kongtrul Rinpoche, Lama Jigme Rinpoche, and Gendun Rinchen (Guendune Rinpoche).
Through these offerings, we cultivate the wish that their altruistic activities may unfold without hindrance for the benefit of all.
You can participate in this offering by purchasing katas online. The monastics will place them on the central altar and on the masters’ thrones on your behalf on this final day of the Kagyu Monlam.
